Launch of first ever website for DJ’s and Dancers

A new website has launched this week that allows both dancers and DJ’s to showcase their talents directly to the clubbing industry.

The site is the UK's first and only company which is dedicated to both DJ's and Dancers to promote themselves.

Since the pilot launched in April 2009 the site has seen over 500 dancers and DJs register from across the UK. Through an individual's profile each Dancer or DJ can provide a description of themselves and include uploads and pictures.  It also enables clubs and venues to promote their up and coming events as well as allowing performers to apply to work there.

Feedback from those in the industry has been overwhelmingly positive with everyone embracing what the site is seeking to achieve

Founder, Tracy Mcgahan, has been involved in the clubbing industry in both the UK and Balearics for over 14 years. Her focus has been to create a site that enables performers to promote themselves whether this is to find work through the site or to simply show off their talents. It can also run alongside any existing professional agency relationship they may have. The clubbing industry is a hard place to be successful but there are some amazing performers out there. They now have a dedicated site to showcase themselves directly to others in the industry whether this is to events, promoters or clubbers and whether they are fresh talent or an existing performer.”

Future developments of the site will see a profile page for general performers such as percussionists and vocalists in addition to the ability to upload video feeds and a message wall.

An official launch party is planned for later in the year and details of a competition for performers at that event will soon be up on the site, with the winners performing at the event.
