Auditions will begin in January for the new prime time BBC talent search.
Over the Rainbow is looking for a female performer to play Dorothy in a new West End production of The Wizard of Oz.
Andrew Lloyd Webber (pictured) is to return after the success of previous shows How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria, Any Dream Will Do and I'd Do Anything. Graham Norton is also set to return as host of the popular BBC1 series.
