McFly are to host a Music Master Class that will provide insight, tools and tips for 16 to 21 year olds looking to break into the music industry.
The boyband have been named as the final mentors of the 2009 Celebrity Master Class programme run by Santander's UK current account brands Abbey and Alliance & Leicester.
The global bank reveals that 67% of men and 55% of adult women who did not opt for higher education say it has not hindered their career and nearly half (47%) of young people feel that practical work experience is just as advantageous as higher education.

Lead singer of McFly, Tom Fletcher said: “We have been very fortunate to have had good advice and great people working with us since we started out. We've had seven number one singles, two number one albums and now our own record label. McFly joins Denise Van Outen and Danny Cipriani as a Celebrity Mentor. Denise Van Outen's Master Class will be taking place on 25th September 2009.The Master Class Programme is open to new and existing Abbey 16-18 and Student Bank Account holders, and Alliance & Leicester's Premier 21 Current Account holders.
