Helena Blackman became familiar to millions as the runner-up on BBC casting show How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? in 2006. Since then, she’s starred in productions of Gypsy, The Wizard of Oz and South Pacific (for which she was nominated for a TMA Award), as well as appearing in galas including Night of a Thousand at the Royal Albert Hall. She’s currently playing Helen in Stephen Sondheim’s early musical Saturday Night, which opened at the Jermyn Street Theatre last month and transfers to the Arts Theatre this week.
